BATON ROUGE -- With postseason bowl destinations set to be announced Sunday afternoon, the LSU football team moved up two spots to No. 19 in the AP Top 25 and one spot to No. 20 in the Amway Coaches Poll.

LSU (7-4, 5-3 SEC) was last seen posting a 54-39 victory over then-No. 22 Texas A&M on Thanksgiving night in College Station.

Ed Orgeron, who took over as interim head coach after a 2-2 start in late September, was 5-2 down the stretch to finish tied for second in the SEC Western Division. Orgeron was officially named  head coach on Nov. 26.
