BATON ROUGE - LSU moved up to 14 in the Amway Coaches Top 25 poll, while also moving up to No. 15 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll ahead of this week's anticipated matchup between the Tigers and Alabama Crimson Tide this Saturday night at 7 p.m. on CBS.

LSU moved up five spots in the coaches poll and four in the AP poll after the team's open date, sitting as one of five Southeastern Conference teams in the top 15 of each poll. Alabama is ranked No. 1 in both major polls as this week was also an open date for the Crimson Tide.

It will be a big weekend on campus as on Saturday night it was announced that ESPN's highly-rated College Gameday show will be based out of Baton Rouge next Saturday morning beginning at 8 a.m. CT. That night the lights will shine on Tiger Stadium as Verne Lundquist, Gary Danielson and Allie LaForce will be on the call for the game.
