BATON ROUGE - Coming off of its 38-21 victory over the Ole Miss Rebels, the LSU football team moved up in both national polls on Sunday, moving up to No. 19 in the Amway Coaches and Associated Press Top 25 Polls.

After giving up the first 10 points of the game to the Rebels, the Tigers stormed back to take the lead, one it would not reliquish, shutting out Ole Miss for the entirety of the second half to improve their record to 5-2 on the season and 3-1 in the SEC. LSU has now won all three games under head coach Ed Orgeron.

LSU has its open date this week, as they will return to the field on November 5 hosting No. 1-ranked Alabama in Baton Rouge.
