2016 SEC Academic Honor Roll

A superb hitter who can drive balls into the gaps with regularity and has displayed power to the opposite field … transferred to LSU from Delgado Community College in New Orleans and was a member of the 2016 LSU squad … earned 2016 SEC Academic Honor Roll recognition as a sport administration major … opted to remain at LSU to complete his degree requirements, but not as a member of the baseball team.

2016 Season
Played in five games in a reserve role, batting .167 (1-for-6) … recorded a single as a pinch-hitter versus Vanderbilt on April 7.

Prior to LSU
Hit .446 in 2015 for Delgado CC with 19 doubles, eight homers and 68 RBI … finished No. 9 in the NJCAA rankings in batting average and helped lead Delgado to the JUCO World Series … earned 2015 JUCO All-America and Academic All-America recognition … batted .328 in 2014 for Delgado with 14 doubles, three homers, 52 RBI and 42 runs … batted .455 as a senior at Brother Martin High School in New Orleans with 15 doubles, six homers and 44 RBI … three-time All-State selection at Brother Martin and the 2013 Metro New Orleans Player of the Year … also served as team captain for the Crusaders.
