BATON ROUGE -- Big plays by Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott foiled the LSU football team's perfect start to the season on Saturday, as the Bulldogs held off a furious comeback in the final minutes by the eighth-ranked Tigers, 34-29.

BATON ROUGE LSU hasn't lost a football game to Mississippi State since October of 1999. The eighth-ranked Tigers will look to keep that streak intact on Saturday when LSU welcomes undefeated Mississippi State to Tiger Stadium for the Southeastern Conference opener for both teams.
