Plaisance Named to AP All-SEC Second Team
BATON ROUGE – LSU senior forward Theresa Plaisance was named to the All-SEC Second-Team as announced Tuesday by the Associated Press.
Plaisance came away with 15.6 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game. The New Orleans native is the only player to be ranked among the SEC’s Top 10 in all three categories. She garnered six 20-plus point efforts, all against SEC opponents. Plaisance has put together double figures in 21 consecutive games to conclude the regular season which includes a career-best 29 points at Georgia.
LSU takes on Georgia Tech during Sunday’s NCAA Tournament First Round action at the Maravich Center. Tip time is slated for 11:30 a.m., and the game will be televised by ESPN2.
The LSU Sports Radio Network will broadcast every Lady Tigers NCAA postseason game on Talk 107.3 FM in Baton Rouge and inside the Geaux Zone for subscribers at www.LSUsports.net/live. Patrick Wright, the voice of the Lady Tigers, will have the radio call.
All-session ticket books, single-session ticket and group tickets are on-sale at http://www.lsutix.net/. Fans also have the opportunity to purchase tickets at the LSU Athletic Ticket Office located on the first floor of the LSU Athletic/Administration Building or by phone at (225) 578-2184.
All-session ticket books are $27 for adults and $17 for youth which includes admission to all three games of the NCAA First and Second Round hosted by the Maravich Center. Single-session tickets can be purchased at $16 for adults and $11 for youth. The single-session ticket allows admission into both first round games or the second round game only.
Groups of 10 or more can buy tickets for only $5 apiece, while LSU students will be admitted free to every Lady Tigers game with a valid LSU ID.
