BATON ROUGE – The LSU women’s basketball team will welcome its fans and season ticket holders to campus for a “Selection Monday” watch party from 5-7 p.m. inside the Lawton Room at Tiger Stadium on March 17. The Lady Tigers will learn their NCAA Tournament seed and opponent during the event.
The doors for the free event open at 5 p.m. with food being served. Head coach Nikki Caldwell and players will address the crowd. There also will be commercial break crowd interaction once the NCAA Selection Show starts at 6 p.m. on ESPN and several televisions inside the Lawton Room will air the show which announces the Field of 64.

LSU is expected to receive an at-large selection for the third consecutive season under Caldwell, and the Lady Tigers will play host to the NCAA Tournament First and Second Rounds on March 23 & 25 at the Maravich Center. Sunday’s first round game times are 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. whereas Tuesday’s second round contest will tip at 8:30 p.m. with the all the games being televised by the ESPN family of networks.
All-session ticket books, single-session ticket and group tickets are on-sale at http://www.lsutix.net/. Fans also have the opportunity to purchase tickets at the LSU Athletic Ticket Office located on the first floor of the LSU Athletic/Administration Building or by phone at (225) 578-2184.
All-session ticket books are $27 for adults and $17 for youth which includes admission to all three games of the NCAA First and Second Round hosted by the Maravich Center. Single-session tickets can be purchased at $16 for adults and $11 for youth. The single-session ticket allows admission into both first round games or the second round game only. Groups of 10 or more can buy tickets for only $5 apiece.
At this time, LSU is asking youth basketball teams or organizations in the 8th grade or under to sign up for the ball exchange during each of the three games of NCAA Tournament 1st and 2nd Rounds. Participants have the chance to be on-court during the national anthem and receive a full-sized basketball from one of the team members. Groups of up to 20 can be accommodated, but space is limited.
