LOS ANGELES -- LSU senior forward Theresa Plaisance has been selected to the John R. Wooden Award Midseason Top 20 list as announced Friday by the Los Angeles Athletic Club. The list is chosen by the Wooden Award National Advisory Board.

Plaisance is the SEC’s lone representative on the prestigious list and has posted 13.7 points to go along with 7.0 rebounds per game this season. She has racked up seven consecutive double figure scoring efforts and became the 31st member of LSU’s 1,000 points club with a 15-point performance against Missouri. The New Orleans native is 13 rebounds away from reaching 500 for her career.

The Wooden Award All American Team, consisting of the nation’s top five players, will be announced the week of the Final Four. The 38th annual Wooden Award Gala will honor the Men's and Women's Wooden Award winners the weekend of April 11-13, 2014. It will include the presentation of the Wooden Award All American Teams.

LSU wraps up its lone two-game SEC road swing of the season Sunday against No. 24 Vanderbilt. Tip time is slated for 1 p.m. CT from Memorial Gym. The game will be televised by Fox Sports Network (FSN), SportSouth (SPSO) and www.WatchESPN.com.

The LSU Sports Radio Network will broadcast the game on Talk 107.3 FM in the Baton Rouge and inside the Geaux Zone at LSUsports.net/live. Patrick Wright, the voice of the Lady Tigers, will call the action.
