BATON ROUGE, La. - The LSU-Southeastern Louisiana baseball game was suspended Friday night due to severe weather in the Baton Rouge area. The game was halted with no score in the bottom of the first inning.
The game will be resumed at 1 p.m. CT Sunday in Alex Box Stadium. Fans are asked to hold onto their Friday night tickets in order to be admitted to the stadium when play resumes Sunday.
Saturday's slate of games will remain the same as originally scheduled. Southeastern Louisiana will meet BYU at 1 p.m. Saturday, and LSU will face BYU at 6 p.m. Saturday.
Admission is free to the Southeastern Louisiana-BYU game. The stadium will be cleared following the game, and fans will be admitted to the LSU-BYU game with the proper ticket.
ONLINE STREAMING: Due to a conflict with LSU women's basketball at the Maravich Center on Sunday, the live video stream in the Geaux Zone for the baseball game against SLU will include only one camera angle. Additionally, the LSU Sports Radio Network broadcast for baseball will only air in the Baton Rouge area on 98.1 FM (as well as in the Geaux Zone), while the women's basketball game will be on the full network. There will be live video of the Lady Tigers' basketball game in the Geaux Zone, as this game is not televised.
Sunday's baseball game will not be televised by CST.
