BATON ROUGE - LSU men's basketball center Andrew Del Piero will be featured Saturday during ESPN's College Gameday show, which takes place this week from Rupp Arena in Lexington, Ky.

The feature is scheduled to air in the second hour of the two-hour telecast in the 10:15 to 10:30 a.m. segment. The second hour of the broadcast airs on ESPN from 10-11 a.m. after the first hour of the show airs from 9-10 a.m. on ESPNU.

Rece Davis is the host of the broadcast along with Jalen Rose, Digger Phelps and Jay Bilas.

ESPN staff members were in Baton Rouge earlier in the month to interview Del Piero and talk to the former member of the Golden Band From Tigerland, who walked on to the LSU men's basketball team prior to the 2010-11 season. This season he has received a scholarship from Coach Johnny Jones and the senior has become a valuable asset to the team, starting 17 games. He recently had his career scoring high of 13 versus Mississippi State.

Also interviewed for the segment were Coach Jones and Director of The Golden Band From Tigerland, Roy King.
