BATON ROUGE - LSU women's golf coach Karen Bahnsen announced on Monday that the national letter-of-intent papers for a second signee, Caroline Nistrup of Dragor, Denmark, has been received and approved.

Nistrup is presently ranked 133rd in the Women's World Amateur rankings and is a member of the Danish National Team.

Nistrup played on Team Denmark in the 2011 European Ladies Championship and in the World Team Amateur this fall when future teammate Madelene Sagstrom was playing for Team Sweden.

She was on the Bronze medal winning team in 2012 in the European Girls Team Championship and this summer finished 13th at the European International Amateur competition.

"We are very proud to have Caroline join our women's golf family," said LSU Coach Karen Bahnsen. "She brings tremendous tournament experience and a great resume' that will combine well with the other players on the team. She is a great addition and we look forward to her joining us for the 2013-14 season."

Carly Ray Goldstein of Coral Springs, Fla., signed with the Lady Tigers last week.
