BATON ROUGE - The LSU men's and women's basketball teams will preview the upcoming 2012-13 season as head coaches Johnny Jones and Nikki Caldwell participate in the annual media day on Wednesday at the LSU Basketball Practice Facility.
The press conference can be viewed live for free in the Geaux Zone at www.LSUsports.net/live beginning at 12:30 p.m.
In conjunction with media day, season tickets for the Tigers and Lady Tigers will go on sale at 8 a.m. Wednesday. Season tickets can be purchased online at www.LSUtix.net, by calling (225) 578-2184, or in person on the first floor of the LSU Athletic Administration Building. Men's season tickets start at $100, while women's season tickets begin at $50.
Caldwell will take the podium at media day at 12:30 p.m. She enters her second season with the Lady Tigers after turning the program around in her first campaign. LSU won 23 games - the most since the 2008 Final Four season - and reached the NCAA Tournament second round and Southeastern Conference Tournament championship game.
Jones, a member of two LSU NCAA Final Four teams as a player and assistant coach, was named on April 13 as the 21st men's head basketball coach in school history. Jones returns to his roots after leading North Texas the past 11 seasons. He will speak at approximately 1:05 p.m. on media day.

Fans can see both teams and coaches at "Pass a Good Time" from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday in the Maravich Center. The fan friendly event will feature fun for all ages. There will be free food.
Doors open to the Maravich Center at 5:30 p.m. Both head coaches will address the fans and there will be a question and answer session with both teams hosted by Gordy Rush. The event concludes with a free autograph session beginning at 7:15 p.m.
