BATON ROUGE - LSU's game against Florida on Saturday, Oct. 6 will be televised by CBS, the Southeastern Conference announced on Monday.

Kickoff between the Tigers and the Gators is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CT (3:30 ET) from Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville. It will be the first time LSU and Florida have played during the day in Gainesville since 2006 when the Gators posted a 23-10 win over the Tigers on CBS.

Last year, LSU beat Florida in Tiger Stadium, 41-11, on CBS in what was the first of six appearances by the Tigers on the network in 2011. This season's game will mark the seventh time the teams have squared off on CBS in the past eight seasons.

Other SEC games slated for television on Saturday, Oct. 6 include: Arkansas at Auburn at 11 a.m. on ESPN or ESPN2; Mississippi State at Kentucky on the SEC Network at 11:21 a.m. CT; Georgia at South Carolina on ESPN at 6 p.m. CT; Texas A&M at Ole Miss on ESPNU at 6 p.m. CT; and Vanderbilt at Missouri at 6 p.m. CT on FSN.

LSU returns to action on Saturday, hosting Towson at 6 p.m. CT in Tiger Stadium in a game that will be televised by ESPNU.
