BATON ROUGE - LSU's baseball game with Southern University has been moved from Wednesday night to Tuesday at 5 p.m. in Alex Box Stadium due to projected severe storms in the Baton Rouge area.

The weather forecast on Wednesday calls for significant storm activity, so LSU officials decided to move the game to give the teams the best chance to play.

The 5 p.m. start on Tuesday will allow fans to attend both the baseball game and the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament game at 8:30 p.m. between LSU and Penn State in the Maravich Center.

Fans should bring their Game 20 ticket for admission to Alex Box Stadium for the LSU-Southern game.

Tickets for the LSU-Penn State women's basketball game will be on sale at the Alex Box Stadium Ticket Office beginning at 3 p.m. Tuesday until the middle of the fourth inning of the LSU-Southern baseball game. Women's basketball tickets are $16 for adults and $11 for youth.
