BATON ROUGE - The National Consortium for Academics and Sports recognized LSU's Life Skills program for its excellence in community outreach at the Consortium's annual conference.
The Life Skills Program gives LSU student-athletes the opportunity to participate in multiple community service projects throughout their time at LSU.
Jade Bryan, assistant director of the CHAMPS/Life Skills Program, is pleased that NCAS is recognizing LSU student-athletes for their excellence in community service.
"We are extremely honored that our Life Skills Program is being recognized by the National Consortium for Academics and Sports for our outreach and community service efforts," she said. "At LSU, it is our goal to instill in the student-athletes the importance of giving back to the community. "
