BATON ROUGE - Former LSU football great and current Dallas Cowboys linebacker Bradie James and his organization, Foundation 56, along with LSU gymnastics coach D-D Breaux will host the third-annual "Tailgating for the Fight" on Feb. 16 from 6-9 p.m. in the Stadium Club inside Tiger Stadium.
The tailgate will be full of fun, food and spirited auction bidding throughout the event.
Auction items include a Jackson Hole Travel Package, an LSU gymnastics "Flip for a Cure" quilt, autographed sports packages and many more great items.
Admission to the event is only $56, and all money raised will go toward the fight against breast cancer in the Baton Rouge community.
To purchase tickets and RSVP please call 225-394-1357 or e-mail

The event serves as a tailgate party for the fourth annual Etta James Memorial gymnastics meet Feb. 18 between LSU and SEC rival Georgia. The meet will begin at 7 p.m. in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

Committee members include Annie Alleva, D-D Breaux, Sylvia Duke, Gail Gaiennie, Debbie Heroman, Tammye "Ya'el" Lofton, Elise Kaufman, Aimee Simon, Lois Stuckey, and Sandy Young.
Foundation 56 was founded by James, who lost his mother, Etta, to breast cancer in 2002. Since that time James has made a personal pledge to help in the fight against the disease. James began the Foundation 56/Soul Survivors Fund with the specific purpose of supporting breast cancer awareness and screenings.
