BATON ROUGE - Former Tigers Dwayne Bowe and Kyle Williams were named to the 2010 NFL All-Pro Second Team, which was released on Monday.

In addition to earning AP honors, both Bowe and Williams were also selected to participate in the 2011 NFL Pro Bowl. These mark the first All-Pro and Pro Bowl selections for both Bowe and Williams.

Bowe, a 2006 First-Team All-SEC honoree, had a career year in 2010, setting career-highs with 72 receptions, 1,162 yards and 15 touchdowns while leading the Kansas City Chiefs to the playoffs.

Williams, a 2005 First-Team All-American, led the Buffalo Bills with 5.5 sacks while also collecting 77 tackles in 2010. The Ruston, La., native was also tabbed to both the Sports Illustrated and Pro Football Focus All-Pro Teams. He joins former LSU player Andrew Whitworth on the Pro Football Focus All-Pro Team. Whitworth started all 16 games for the Cincinnati Bengals in 2010.

These honors come one day after several other former Tigers earned berths to the Super Bowl. Matt Flynn, Quinn Johnson and Howard Green helped lead the Green Bay Packers over the Chicago Bears on Sunday while Ryan Clark helped guide the Pittsburgh Steelers to their third Super Bowl appearance in the last six years with a victory over the New York Jets.

The 2011 Pro Bowl can be seen Sunday at 6 p.m. CT on Fox while the Super Bowl will take place Sunday, Feb. 6 at 5 p.m. CT and will also be televised by Fox.
