BATON ROUGE - For the ninth-straight year LSU will be represented in the Super Bowl as four former Tigers will take part in Super Bowl XLIV on Feb. 7 in Miami.

Joseph Addai will start at running back for the Indianapolis Colts, while wide receiver Devery Henderson  and defensive back Randall Gay are key contributors on the New Orleans Saints roster - Henderson a starter and Gay a backup. Marlon Favorite is a member of the Saints practice squad and will accompany the team to Miami and will be on the sidelines for the game.

Addai, who won a Super Bowl title with the Colts in 2007, played for the Tigers from 2002-05 and was a first round draft pick in the 2006 NFL Draft. Addai was also a member of LSU's 2003 BCS National Championship team.

Addai is in his third year as a starter for the Colts. He rushed for 828 yards and 10 touchdowns this year to go with 51 catches for 332 yards and three TDs.

Henderson, a native of Opelousas, started at wide receiver for LSU's 2003 BCS National Championship Team, catching 53 passes for 861 yards and 11 touchdowns that year. Henderson, who is in his sixth year with the Saints, caught 51 passes for 804 yards and a pair of touchdowns during the 2009 regular season.

Gay, a Brusly native who is in his second year with New Orleans, has been a part of two Super Bowl Championships Teams during his NFL career, winning league titles with the Patriots in 2004 and 2005.

Favorite was signed to the New Orleans Saints practice squad two weeks ago after bouncing around between the Carolina Panthers and Kansas City Chiefs during his rookie season in 2009.
