SENIOR SEASON (2012-13)
Experienced senior who registered a pair of final swims at the Southeastern Conference Championships … Cranked out his career low in the 100 breast (55.01) in a 19th place finish at SEC’s … Finished 20th in the 200 breast (2:00.70) at the conference meet … Swam LSU’s eight fastest all-time 200 individual medley of 1:49.70 at the SEC Championships … Ranked second on the team in the 200 individual medley and third on the team in the 200 breaststroke… At the Phil Hansel midseason invitational, he posted times of 57.08 in the 100 breaststroke and 2:05.37 in the 200 breaststroke (2:05.37) … Captured the consolation final of the 200 IM at the midseason meet with the event’s fourth fastest time … Also won the consolation final of the 100 breast at the Phil Hansel Invite … Grabbed a third place finish in the 100 breast (59.21) in a victory over Kentucky on men’s senior day … Raced to sixth in the 200 breast at the midseason meet … Finished fourth in the 100 breast (57.64) in a meet with Texas A&M … Took fourth in the 100 breast (58.40) and the 200 breast (2:07.65) in a victory over Alabama.
JUNIOR SEASON (2011-12)
Capitalized on his talent and made strides at the SEC Championships, the Tennessee Invitational and in every dual meet … Swam the program’s eight fastest 200 individual medley (1:49.72) at the SEC Championships … Posted the program’s 10th fastest 200 breaststroke (2:00.47) mark in a 15th place finish at SEC’s … Finished 15th in the 100 breast with a career low 55.83 at the conference meet … Registered a 13th place swim in the 200 IM (1:52.97), 15th place swim in the 200 breast (2:05.72) and a 20th place swim in the 100 breast (57.77) at the Tennessee Invitational … Helped guide the men’s side to a second place finish in the 400 free relay, the final event of the meet, in a narrow two-point victory over Alabama …. Earned his second varsity letter.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2010-11)
A part of the breaststroke and individual medley corps who competed in nine dual meets and Cougar Classic Invitational … Raced to third in the 200 IM (1:53.19), fifth in the 100 breast (58.40), sixth in the 400 IM (4:09.08) and sixth in the 200 breast (2:09.73) at the Cougar Classic … Swam to third-place in the 100 breast in a win over American … Registered fifth in the 200 IM at the Florida Atlantic Invite.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2009-10)
A breaststroke and individual medley contributor in his first season … Competed in five dual meets, Houston’s Cougar Classic Invitational and SEC Championships … Swam to a season best of 56.91 in the 100 breast to take 22nd at SEC’s … Also placed 20th in the 200 breast and 34th in the 200 IM … Emerged victorious in the 200 breast and 200 IM in a home win over UNO with personal bests of 2:02.73 and 1:51.32, respectively … Also won the 100 breast at that competition … Finished seventh in the 400 IM and eighth in the 200 breast at the Cougar Classic … Earned his first varsity letter.
