BATON ROUGE -- Five former LSU catchers and 11 former Tiger infielders were selected by fans for the All-Alex Box Stadium “Omaha Era” Team. The fans’ choices were announced during Saturday’s game between LSU and Mississippi State in Alex Box Stadium.
Fans also voted online to select outfielders and pitchers for the squad. The names of the outfielders were announced during Friday’s LSU-MSU game, and the pitchers will be revealed during the series finale on Sunday.
