BATON ROUGE -- The “Talking Smack Express,” a recreational vehicle designed to promote the upcoming Gridiron Bash at Tiger Stadium on April 4, will be on site during LSU’s baseball series against Stetson this weekend. The RV will be parked in the lot behind the right field wall of Alex Box Stadium.
MSL Sports and Entertainment president Shawn Garrity and Chuck Muncie, former NFL All-Pro with the Saints and the Chargers and a partner with MSL, are on a grassroots 18-market tour to promote Gridiron Bash, The Ultimate Fan Competition. They’ll be rolling into town in their 42-foot RV, decked from head-to-toe in Gridiron Bash décor; and giving away freebies, such as t-shirts and mini-footballs – all to encourage people to rally behind LSU for a chance to win $1 million in the USA Today Bash for Cash Series.
As part of Gridiron Bash, Kid Rock and Sara Evans will perform live in a first-of-its-kind concert at Tiger Stadium on April 4, the evening before the LSU Spring Football Game. The evening also will include a pep rally and other fan festivities.
Tiger fans can help LSU win $1 million by send a text message that says “LSU” to 23909. Standard text messaging rates apply. Text votes count for 30 percent and Gridiron Bash attendance counts for 70 percent in choosing the Ultimate Fan Competition winners.
The Gridiron Bash RV will be at “The Box” for the baseball games on Friday evening at 5:30 p.m. CST; Saturday at noon CST, and Sunday at noon CDT.
