CAREER
One of the top centers in college football in 2012 … Played in 42 games during his career, starting 38 times … Three-year starter at center for the Tigers … … In 2012, became the first LSU player to start at least one game at center in four different seasons since Ben Wilkerson did it from 2001-04 … … Started two games as a redshirt freshman in 2009, all 13 games in 2010, 11 games in 2011 and 12 games in 2012 … LSU was 31-7 in games in which he’s started, including an 11-2 record in 2010, a 10-1 mark in 2011, and a 9-3 record in 2012 ... Holds the school record in the clean with a 374-pound lift … Also squatted over 500 pounds … Is a second-generation Tiger as his dad – Pat – played on the offensive line for LSU in the 1970s … Earned SEC Academic Honors in 2009 … Graduating in December of 2012 with a degree in management. 

SENIOR SEASON (2012)
Played in 13 games with 12 starts at center ... Ranked second among all offensive linemen in snaps with 811 … Recorded a total of 45.5 knockdowns … Played every snap at center in LSU’s last seven games, including a season-high 84 plays vs. Alabama … Played every snap in games vs. South Carolina (81), Texas A&M (72), Mississippi State (68), Ole Miss (77), Arkansas (67) and Clemson (47) … Had season-best 10 knockdowns in win over Ole Miss in November as he was named the SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week for his performance vs. the Rebels … Had 3.5 knockdowns vs. Alabama as the Tigers rolled up 435 total yards, including 296 through the air, against the Crimson Tide … Had four knockdowns and anchored an offensive line that paved the way for 258 rushing yards in win over No. 3 South Carolina.

JUNIOR SEASON (2011)
Played in 12 games with 11 starts, all a center … Saw action on 677 snaps with 65.5 knockdowns … LSU was 10-1 in games in which he started with the only loss coming to Alabama in the BCS National Championship Game … Opened season by playing all 74 snaps and recording a career-best 14.5 knockdowns in 40-27 win over No. 3 Oregon … Came off the bench in the second half against Alabama in November and helped the Tigers to a 9-6 overtime win in Tuscaloosa … Missed the two previous games (Tennessee and Auburn) with a high ankle sprain, which he suffered in the first half against Florida … Returned to the starting lineup against Western Kentucky and started the last five games of the season. 

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2010)
Started all 13 games at center, leading the Tigers in both knockdown blocks (76) and snaps (863) … Played every offensive snap in 11 of LSU’s 13 games … Capped season with tremendous overall game in 41-24 win over Texas A&M in the Cotton Bowl as he played all 76 snaps and led Tigers with 12 knockdown blocks … LSU racked up 446 total yards (288 rushing, 158 passing) and 24 first downs in the win over the Aggies … The only games in which he wasn’t on the field for every offensive snap was against Tennessee (68 of 76 plays) and Louisiana-Monroe (56 of 61 plays) … Posted team-high knockdowns in five games  - seven vs. West Virginia, 10 vs. Florida, eight against McNeese State, eight against Alabama and 12 vs. Texas A&M.

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (2009)
Backup center for most of the season … Took over the starting role during LSU’s bowl practice and started against Penn State in the Capital One Bowl, playing all 49 offensive snaps in the contest … Also started for an injured T-Bob Hebert in win over Louisiana Tech … Played in a total of four games and logged a total of 118 snaps (12 vs. Tulane, 57 vs. Louisiana Tech, 49 vs. Penn State) … Also saw action at  Alabama … Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll following the season.

HIGH SCHOOL
