Melissa Moore Seal, one of the top strength and conditioning coordinators in softball and tennis, enters her 13th year at LSU. Seal, a native of Enon, La., is recognized as a Master Strength and Condition Coach by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association.
Seal came to LSU after stints at both Georgia Tech and Elon University as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. She spent two years at Georgia Tech working with Yellow Jackets’ softball and women’s tennis programs after a brief stint working with Elon University. While earning her master's degree at Southern Miss, Seal spent two years working with the football, basketball, men's and women's basketball, soccer, tennis, softball and volleyball programs.
During her time at LSU, she has coordinated the strength and conditioning programs for four Women's College World Series team (2012, 2015, 2016, 2017) and two Women's Final Four teams (2007 and 2008).
She is married to her hometown sweetheart Kevin Seal and they have a 4-year-old daughter Aubrey.
