BATON ROUGE -- For members of LSU's middle distance crew, the second week of November marks a transition in their training regimen each year as they put on the spikes and step onto the track for the first time as they enter the homestretch of the fall season.

BATON ROUGE – After wrapping up the 2009 season last weekend, several runners from the LSU men's and women's cross country teams donated a few hours of their time Tuesday to read to students at Delmont Elementary in Baton Rouge.

BATON ROUGE -- With a solid conditioning base already established through weeks of strength and endurance training, the LSU sprinters and hurdlers have now entered the home stretch of their fall training schedule as they continue their preparation for the upcoming 2010 season.

WACO, Texas -- The LSU men's and women's cross country teams wrapped up their season Saturday at the NCAA South Central regional meet hosted by Baylor, as the men's team finished in 18th place, while the women finished 21st.

BATON ROUGE -- The LSU men's and women's cross country teams will travel to Waco, Texas, to compete in the NCAA South Central Regional Championships on Saturday hosted by Baylor University.
