BATON ROUGE – LSU's junior sprinter Nethaneel Mitchell-Blake has cashed in on his championship treble at the SEC Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a selection to the 10-man watch list for The Bowerman Award released Thursday ahead of the NCAA Preliminary Rounds by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

BATON ROUGE – The LSU Track & Field program learned Thursday night that 50 entries between the men's and women's programs have earned qualification into the 2016 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships as the University of North Florida will play host to the NCAA East Preliminary Rounds from May 26-28 in Jacksonville.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Nethaneel Mitchell-Blake became the first LSU sprinter in eight years to win three SEC gold medals and the Tigers smashed two meet records in the relay events to highlight six event wins for the LSU Track & Field teams on Saturday in a furious finale at the 2016 SEC Outdoor Championships held at Sam Bailey Stadium.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Reigning SEC javelin champion Rebekah Wales sat fourth in the standings with just one throw to go in her title defense on Friday afternoon, but took home All-SEC honors for the second-straight season when she let fly a personal best of 180 feet, 7 inches in the final round to move up a spot and win the bronze medal.
