ATLANTA, Ga. – LSU's junior All-American Stewart Jolly and sophomore standout Zach Wright came up short in their bid to qualify for match play tournament at the 114th United States Amateur Championship after wrapping up the second round in 36 holes of stroke play qualifying at the Atlanta Athletic Club on Tuesday afternoon.

BATON ROUGE – Two LSU Tigers will be in the field for the 114th United States Amateur Championship next week as rising senior All-American Stewart Jolly and rising junior standout Zach Wright will make the trip to the Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek, Georgia, for one of the world's premier amateur tournaments that will be held from Aug. 11-17.

SURREY, England – LSU's junior All-American Stewart Jolly wrapped up his international debut at the 2014 Palmer Cup during Saturday's singles action as he dropped a 3&2 decision to Central Florida's Ricardo Gouveia of Portugal as the Europeans stormed to an 18.5-11.5 victory over the United States in the event held this weekend at Walton Heath Golf Club.
