BATON ROUGE – The 2013 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships are set to kick off this weekend as the LSU Track & Field teams make the trip to Greensboro, N.C., to compete in the first round and quarterfinals at the NCAA East Preliminary Rounds beginning Thursday at North Carolina A&T's Irwin Belk Track.

BATON ROUGE – Former NCAA hurdles champion Barrett Nugent and reigning SEC champions Damar Forbes and Laura Carleton highlight 16 graduates by the LSU Track & Field program as seven Tigers and nine Lady Tigers took part in spring commencement ceremonies on Thursday and Friday on the LSU campus.

BATON ROUGE – The LSU Track & Field program learned Thursday afternoon that 51 entries between the men's and women's programs have received qualification for the 2013 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships as North Carolina A&T University will host the NCAA East Preliminary Rounds on May 23-25 in Greensboro.

BATON ROUGE – Following a strong performance at the 2013 SEC Outdoor Track & Field Championships last weekend, the Lady Tigers have held steady at No. 4 and the Tigers have climbed five spots to No. 7 in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Top 25 power rankings released Tuesday.
