BATON ROUGE – Success for LSU student-athletes in the classroom reached an all-time high as the NCAA recently reported the Graduation Success Rate score of 88 for the Tigers, four points better than the previous high which was set a year ago.

Braxton Leads LSU, Finishes 11th in NCAA Regionals

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – LSU's cross country teams wrapped up the 2016 season at the NCAA South Central Regional on Friday morning with three runners finishing in the Top 60 at the Agri Park XC Course. Sophomore Dajour Braxton led the Tigers' efforts with an 11th-place finish to earn all-region honors for his performance.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – For the second time in three weeks, LSU's men's and women's cross country teams head back to the home of the Razorbacks to compete in the NCAA South Central Regional on Friday as the meet will be held again at Agri Park.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Sophomore Dajour Braxton and freshman Ruby Stauber led LSU's men's and women's cross country teams respectively this morning at the Southeastern Conference Championships. Braxton placed 36th individually with a time of 25 minutes, 23.9 seconds, pacing the men's team who placed 11th with 296 points. Stauber recorded a time of 21:58.2 to earn 54th-place, while her efforts led the Lady Tigers for a 12th place team finish with 366 points. The men and women ran the 8k and 6k races at Agri Park.

XC Teams to Compete in SEC Championships

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The LSU Cross Country teams return to action Friday morning in the Southeastern Conference Cross Country Championships held at Agri Park. The women will begin the meet, running the 6k race, beginning at 10 a.m. CT. The men will follow shortly after at 11 a.m. CT in the 8k race.

XC Men Finish 14th, Women 16th in Crimson Classic

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama – Sophomore Dajour Braxton and senior Ashley Welborn led the Tigers and Lady Tigers' respectively in the Crimson Classic this morning at Harry Pritchett RC. Braxton finished in 51st place individually, recording a time of 25 minutes, 45.7 seconds. Welborn crossed the finish with a time of 22:17.6 to earn 76th place.

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama – After a near three-week break, the Tigers and Lady Tigers return to action on Friday morning at the annual Crimson Classic held at Harry Pricthett RC. The men will begin the meet, running the 8k race at 9:00 a.m. CT with the women following at 9:45 a.m. CT in the 6k race.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Sophomore Dajour Braxton paced the Tigers' effort with a third-place finish in the Texas A&M Cross Country Invitational Saturday morning. This was Braxton's third consecutive meet finishing third individually. Freshman Ruby Stauber led the women's team crossing in 15th place.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Both of LSU's cross country teams will be competing in the Texas A&M Invitational Saturday morning. The men will begin the meet, running the 8k course at 8:15 a.m. CT, and the women will commence shortly after at 9:00 a.m. CT on the 6k course. Both teams will be running at the Dale Watts Course.

Men Earn Second, Women Third in LSU Invitational

BATON ROUGE – The LSU men's cross country team had a strong showing as they finished second in the 2016 LSU Invitational scoring 45 points at Highland Road Park. The women scored 55 points, good enough for a third-place team finish. Both the men and women ran the 5k course.

HOUSTON – Freshman Ruby Stauber and senior Ashley Welborn led the Lady Tigers to a fourth-place women's finish, while sophomore Dajour Braxton placed third individually to lead the Tigers to an eighth-place team finish at the Rice Invitational on Friday evening.

LAKE CHARLES, La. – Sophomore Erika Lewis and freshman Ruby Stauber combined for the win in the women's 6k race while senior Ashley Welborn and sophomore Hannah Bourque were runners-up in leading the Lady Tigers to the women's team title at the McNeese Cross Country Relays on Friday night.
