ATHENS, Georgia – For the third-straight race, freshman Eric Coston led the Tigers cross country team in the SEC Championships this morning. Coston finished the 8k in 24 minutes, 55.8 seconds, earning 34th place, and he has finished in the Top 40 in every race this season. The Tigers finished with 312 points and placed 11th.
ATHENS, Georgia – Following a two-week break in action, the LSU cross country teams are set to return to action Friday morning in the Southeastern Conference Championships held at the University of Georgia Golf Course. The men will kick off the meet in the 8k race scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. CT, and the women will follow at 11 a.m. CT in the 6k race.
TUSCALOOSA, Alabama – For the second consecutive race, freshman Eric Coston and junior Ersula Farrow led the Tigers and Lady Tigers this morning at Harry Pritchett RC. Coston finished the 8k in 36th place, recording a time of 25 minutes, 27.3 seconds. Farrow notched a time of 21:38.5 in the 6k, earning 42nd place.
TUSCALOOSA, Alabama – After a near three-week break, the Tigers and Lady Tigers are set to return to action Friday morning, at the annual Crimson Classic, held at Harry Pricthett RC. The men will start first at 9 a.m. CT in the 8,000-meter race, followed by the women's 6,000-meter race at 9:45 a.m. CT.
