ST. LOUIS - For the fifth time in six seasons and the seventh time in school history, the No. 2 LSU gymnastics advanced to the NCAA Super Sixafter the Tigers took down four teams in the NCAA Semifinal I and posted a team score of 197.475 Friday afternoon in Chaifetz Arena.

ESPN Expands NCAA Championships Coverage

For the third consecutive year, the Women's National Collegiate Gymnastics Championships will air live as 12 teams tumble toward the NCAA title in St. Louis this weekend at Chaifetz Arena. Coverage begins on Friday, April 20 at 1 p.m. ET on ESPN2 (Semifinal I) and continues that evening at 7 p.m. on ESPNU (Semifinal II). The Super Six Finals are slated for Saturday, April 21 at 7 p.m. on ESPNU.

LOUIS—The No. 2 LSU gymnastics team remained perfect among SEC competition, captured its second consecutive SEC Championship and posted its NCAA Gymnastics record 36th consecutive meet with a team score of 197 or better after defeating Alabama, Florida and Kentucky in the second session of the SEC Championship, taking home the crown with a 197.400 Saturday evening in the Chaifetz Arena.
