Men's Tennis to Face Arkansas in SEC Tournament

After hitting its first home run in 12 games Sunday, the No. 17 LSU softball team didn't wait nearly as long to get more as a pair of long balls from the bats of Amanda Doyle and Allie Walljasper helped propel the Tigers to a 6-0 win over the South Alabama Jaguars Tuesday night in Baton Rouge.

BATON ROUGE, La. LSU seniors Sahvanna Jaquish and Bailey Landry were both selected in the first round of the 2017 NPF College Draft presented by 2XU on Monday night, with Jaquish being selected third overall by the Chicago Bandits, as Landry was selected fifth overall by Texas Charge.

In a wild first inning that saw a combined six runs scored, the No. 16 LSU softball team once again had the lead over No. 11 Tennessee, but the Volunteer offense would not quit and turned a two-run deficit into a two run lead by scoring four unanswered runs in an eventual 6-4 win over the Tigers to claim the series.
