BATON ROUGE -- ESPN’s College GameDay will make its eighth trip to LSU this weekend as the popular college football preview show will air live from the Parade Grounds prior to the Tigers’ game against top-ranked Florida on Saturday.
Kickoff for the Tigers and the Gators is scheduled for 7 p.m. from a sold out Tiger Stadium.
The game will be televised by CBS. LSU ran its record to 5-0 overall following last week’s 20-13 win over Georgia. Florida is 4-0 overall.
The LSU campus will start buzzing early on Saturday as College GameDay will broadcast live beginning at 9 a.m. from the Parade Grounds in the center of campus.
Last year, ESPN’s College GameDay was on campus for LSU’s contest against top-ranked Alabama.
ESPN’s College GameDay Built by The Home Depot is hosted by Chris Fowler with analysis from Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit and Desmond Howard. This year marks the 23rd season of college football coverage by GameDay with 16 of those years being on the campus of college football's top game of the week.
