BATON ROUGE -- Bus shuttle service to LSU football games will be in operation this season utilizing First Transit buses, it was announced Thursday.

LSU has contracted with First Transit to run its traditional football game day shuttle bus routes from Westmoreland Shopping Center and from Farr Park. Also, LSU will operate its handicap shuttle service from Lot M near the LSU tennis courts to Tiger Stadium on game day. LSU shares the costs of the Farr Park route with BREC. Round-trip tickets for the Westmoreland and Farr Park locations will be $15 and are complimentary from the handicap lot.

Game day shuttles from downtown to LSU football games will once again be offered this season by the Downtown Business Association beginning two and a half hours before kickoff. The buses will pick up fans at the Hilton Hotel at 201 Lafayette Street. The last bus will depart Tiger Stadium 30 minutes after the end of the game to return to the Hilton.

Tickets for the downtown route may be purchased at the Hilton Hotel’s front desk (225-344-5866) beginning Friday morning at 10 a.m. Round-trip tickets for the downtown route will be $18 per person.
